This Broadway-style production will transport you through the ages, as you experience a variety of timeless Christmas classics, as well as your favorite contemporary renditions. Relive the nostalgic music and yuletide attire of times gone by, revel in the fun and festive choreography of more modern melodies, hum along to the choral masterpieces presented in joyful exuberance, and encounter the miraculous anticipation of the triumphant arrival of the Christ Child, all from the comfort of your authentic theatre seat!

We have set the stage for this year’s Christmas Spectacular to be better than ever! Alongside many of your cherished Christmas songs and scenes, we have added some incredible new numbers that are sure to delight every attender, young and old! Showcasing a cast of 100+ performers, professional theatre lighting and sound, over 300 hand-crafted costumes, dazzling music, dance and special effects, this is sure to be an evening you won’t forget!

Standby – Doors open for standby seating at 6:45pm on a first come, first served basis. Standby Tickets available at the door.

Thank you for your interest in the New Hope Christmas Spectacular. At this time, we are no longer taking reservations for tickets online. Our box office will be open for ticket pick-up Wednesday, December 6th and Thursday, December 7th from 9am-4:30pm. Walk-ins are welcome during those hours for anyone who would still like to pick tickets up for any of our shows. If you have previously reserved tickets either online or over the phone, your tickets will also be available for pick-up during box office hours on Wednesday and Thursday. Our Box Office is located at 2450 Winfield Dunn Pkwy. Please drive around to the back of the Theatre to the Double Doors. If the doors are locked, ring the doorbell and someone will assist you.

It is important to know, we do not have a will-call option available. All remaining unclaimed tickets and ticket reservations will be cancelled after the close of the Box Office on Thursday, December 7th.  Stand-by tickets will be available at the door for each performance. While seating for Standby is likely, it is not guaranteed. Also note, general ticket holders may enter the auditorium at 6:30 each evening, while standby ticket holders will be asked to wait until 6:45pm to enter. Thank you and enjoy the show.

WHAT IS THE COST OF A TICKET?

Thanks to the generosity of our Christmas Spectacular Sponsors, alongside concession sales and proceeds from the nightly offering, we are able to gift this show to you COMPLETELY FREE!

HOW DO I GET TICKETS?

Tickets are available:

  • before and after every Sunday Morning Service at New Hope Church in the Lobby
  • online at newhopeonline.com/christmas
  • by calling the Box Office at (865) 344-0417
  • at the New Hope Church Business Office Monday – Wednesday, 9am to 5pm
WHAT ARE THE BOX OFFICE HOURS?

The Business Office is currently open Monday – Wednesday, 9am to 5pm. We endeavor to extend the hours as we get closer to show dates, so please check back for additional pick-up times at a later date, if needed.

HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO PICK UP MY TICKETS?

Once you have placed your ticket order, and it has been confirmed by one of our Box Office Attendants, we kindly request that you pick your tickets up within one week. Tickets that have not been picked up after that will be returned to circulation unless prior arrangements have been made with our Box Office.

IS THERE AN AGE RESTRICTION?

While there is no age restriction for our performances, please note that small children and infants may be uncomfortable with the length, loudness, and lighting of the show. We suggest children be accustomed to sitting quietly for long lengths of time. For safety reasons, children must be kept out of the aisles at all times. For the enjoyment of all guests in the Theatre, we also kindly request that all fussing and crying children be taken to the Lobby.

CAN I SELECT MY SEAT?

General Admission Tickets and Standby Tickets are open seating only. Our V.I.P Ticket holders will be given first selection of seating and are able to enter the Theatre between 5:45-6:15 to select their seats. After 6:25pm, a select number of prime seats will remain reserved for late arriving V.I.P ticket holders and will be released shortly after the show begins. There may also be areas of the Theatre roped off to accommodate large groups. These areas will be on a first-come, first-served basis for groups and will be released to open seating 10 minutes before show start.

WHAT IS THE RUN TIME OF THE SHOW?

The show runs approximately 2hours in length, plus intermission time.

ARE CONCESSIONS AVAILABLE?

Concessions are available in the Lobby before the show and during Intermission. Items available may include popcorn, candy, water, soft drinks, coffee, cappuccino, and hot chocolate.

HOW EARLY CAN I ARRIVE AT THE THEATRE?

I HAVE A TICKET, BUT CANNOT MAKE IT, WHAT DO I DO WITH MY TICKET?

Tickets make a wonderful gift! We suggest finding someone who would love to attend and gifting them your ticket! In the event you are unable to find someone, please return your ticket to the Box Office for redistribution.

HOW CAN I BECOME SPONSOR?

  • $2,000 PLATINUM SPONSORSHIP: 25 VIP reserved seating tickets, preferred parking, & your name or business displayed at the Christmas Spectacular
  • $1,000 GOLD SPONSORSHIP: 15 VIP reserved seating tickets, preferred parking, & your name or business displayed at the Christmas Spectacular
  • $500 SILVER SPONSORSHIP: 10 VIP reserved seating tickets, preferred parking, & your name or business displayed at the Christmas Spectacular
  • $250 BRONZE SPONSORSHIP: 5 VIP reserved seating tickets, preferred parking, & your name or business displayed at the Christmas Spectacular
DO I NEED A TICKET TO ENTER?

Yes. Every entrant requires a ticket to enter. Tickets ensure we can accommodate all guests who desire to attend. Remember, every ticket represents a seat. In the event you are unable to use your ticket, we suggest gifting it to someone else or returning it to the Box Office.

WHERE AND WHEN DO I PICK UP MY TICKETS?

Tickets may be picked up at the New Hope Church Business Office located at 2450 Winfield Dunn Pkwy. The office is located at the back of the church on the lower level of the building. Please follow the road around to the back of the building and ring the doorbell at the double doors. Someone will answer the door and assist you. The Business Office is currently open Monday – Wednesday, 9am to 5pm. We endeavor to extend the hours as we get closer to show dates, so please check back for additional pick-up times at a later date, if needed. You can also pick up tickets in the New Hope Church Lobby on Sundays before and after our 10am service.

WHAT IF I CANNOT PICK UP MY TICKETS BEFORE THE SHOW?

New Hope is no longer offering “Will Call” ticket options. All General Admission Tickets must be picked up no later than Wednesday, December 6th by 5pm. After this time, Standby Tickets will be available at the door the night of the performances. For those guests travelling long distances, we will make the exception of mailing your tickets via the US postal services. Due to the cost of postage, we are only able to mail tickets to our guests traveling from outside of the area.

HOW MANY TICKTES CAN I RESERVE?

Every ticket represents a seat! We limit ticket reservations to 10 per transaction. If you have secured attendants for all 10 tickets and desire additional tickets, you are then able to acquire additional tickets.

DO YOU ACCOMMODATE GROUPS?

New Hope is no longer reserving seats or allowing early entry for large groups. However, to assist large groups that may be attending, if we know in advance the night you are attending the performance, we will provide a “group seating” section of our auditorium to help accommodate our groups being able to be seated together. This area will be on a first-come, first-served basis and is not guaranteed. Please contact the New Hope Church Business Office for further information at 865-932-4673

IS THE THEATRE HANDICAPPED ACCESSIBLE?

The New Hope Theatre is accessible. We will have parking attendants that can direct you to Handicapped parking spots. We also have a limited number of roll-in handicapped spots in our theatre for wheelchairs and scooters. Due to the safety of all guests and our cast who will use the aisles during the show, walkers and wheelchairs that are used by individuals who choose to be seated in regular Theatre seats will be removed from the aisles by an usher, stored nearby, and returned to guest when needed.

WHAT IS A V.I.P. AND HOW DO I BECOME ONE?

V.I.P Tickets are available to our sponsors and their guests. Each sponsor receives a specific number of tickets based on their “tier” of sponsorship. Our sponsors receive several perks, in addition to their V.I.P. tickets, such as preferred parking, business promotion in our Playbill and Screens, as well as a special gift to enjoy the night of the show. If you are interested in becoming a sponsor, please contact the New Hope Business Office at 865-932-4673 for more information or stop by the Christmas Spectacular table in the church Lobby before or after Sunday Service.

IS THERE AN INTERMISSION?

Intermission is halfway through the show and is approximately fifteen minutes in length. Concessions stands are open during this time.

We are unable to replace General Admission Tickets at the door, however Standy Tickets will be available.

I HAVE A TICKET FOR A PARTICULAR PERFORMANCE, BUT WOULD LIKE TO USE IT A DIFFERENT NIGHT… CAN I?

Tickets are good for the night they are printed. Remember, each ticket represents a seat. If you need to exchange a ticket for a different performance, please contact our Box Office before Wednesday, December 6th at 865-344-0417. There are also Standby Tickets available at the door on the night of performances.
